Southern Oregon’s Rogue Valley is located roughly midway between Portland and San Francisco, 30 miles north of the California border and 100 miles east of the Pacific Ocean. It covers an area of approximately 5,000 square miles, much of it rural rolling hills and river valleys.

The Rogue Valley is divided into two counties with a total population of about 276,000. Jackson County includes Medford as the seat, Ashland, Butte Falls, Central Point, Eagle Point, Gold Hill, Jacksonville, Phoenix, Rogue River, Shady Cove and Talent.

Josephine County includes Grants Pass as the seat, plus Cave Junction and several small unincorporated towns.
